      <content:encoded><![CDATA[BMI composer <a id='f853' class='f853' href='/affiliate/C853'>Mike Post</a> and BMI Senior Director, Film/TV Relations, Linda Livingston congratulate <a id='f245' class='f245' href='/affiliate/C245'>Chanda Dancy</a>, one of three recipients of the 2002 <a id='f194' class='f194' href='/affiliate/C194'>Pete Carpenter</a> Fellowship for Aspiring Film Composers. Dancy is from Houston, Texas and received her Bachelor of Arts in Music from Houston Baptist University. <p><table width="460" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" bgcolor="#333333"> <tr> <td><img src="/musicworld/musicpeople/200302/images/cdarcy.jpg" width="460" height="353"><br> <font color="#CCCCCC" size="2" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Pictured [l to r] are Mike Post; Chanda Dancy; BMI's Linda Livingston. <i><br> Photo: Randall Michaelson</i></font></td> </tr> </table> <p>The Fellowship was established by the BMI Foundation and Mr. Carpenter's family, colleagues, and friends to honor the late co-composer of television themes and scores including The A-Team, Magnum P.I., The Rockford Files, Hardcastle and McCormick, Hunter and Riptide. The winners will work for 4-5 weeks on a day-to-day basis with Post, Pete Carpenter's composing partner and friend and writer of such TV themes as NYPD Blue, Hill Street Blues, L.A. Law and Law & Order. Fellows also receive a $2,000 stipend for travel and expenses.]]></content:encoded>
