His songwriting credits include the classics "(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay," "Knock on Wood" and "In the Midnight Hour." As a member of the original incarnation of the Blues Brothers, he recorded three albums with them, including the No. 1 <i>Briefcase Full of Blues</i>. Over the past 20 years. Cropper has continued to be an in-demand musician and producer, and his talents are showcased on CDs by <a href= "/musicworld/features/200111/ejohn.asp">Elton John</a>, <a href= "/musicworld/features/200101/psimon.asp">Paul Simon</a>, Ringo Starr, Buddy Guy, Steppenwolf and Johnny Lang.]]></content:encoded>

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[The Rock and Pop Masters group provided the entertainment at this year's Marconi Radio Awards dinner held during the recent <a href= " http://www.nab.org/conventions/radioshow/2004/" target= "_blank">NAB Radio Show</a> in San Diego. The show featured a performance by BMI singer/songwriters Larry Hoppen from Orleans, Jimmy Jamison from Survivor and solo recording artist Robbie Dupree, who teamed up to entertain radio broadcasters with some of their chart-topping hits, including "Dance with Me," "High on You'" and "Steal Away."
