NashCamp Songwriting Camp: Cumberland Furnace, TN

July 5-9 at the historic Drouillard House, a restored Victorian era mansion in Cumberland Furnace, Tennessee. NashCamp is staffed by Nashville's hit songwriters and Music Row professionals, offering an eclectic combination of craft of songwriting classes and critiques, industry seminars, special guest workshops and concerts. There is an emphasis on the world of commercial writing and students participate in pitch sessions where they have the opportunity to play their song for publishers, producers, and recording artists. The highlight of the week is the camper concert at the Bluebird Cafe. NashCamp welcomes all levels of writers. Tuition includes all classes, concerts, comfortable accommodations and catered meals from the Mad Platter, a well known Nashville gourmet restaurant. Scholarship opportunities exist from the John Jarrard Scholarship Fund, founded in memory of favorite NashCamp faculty member and legendary songwriter, John Jarrard, who passed away in 2001. Those interested in applying for scholarships should contact the NashCamp office as soon as possible at 888-798-5012.
