Babatunde Olantunji Benefit Weekend: Middletown, NY

Due to serious health problems, Babatunde Olantunji is in financial straights. The Spirit of the Arts Foundation is hosting a drum and dance extravaganza weekend to raise money for Baba. Mickey Hart & Planet Drum, Tony Vacca, Voices of Africa, Sule Greg Wilson Ensemble, Inanna, and many other groups will perform. Arthur Hull and other facilitators will host drums circles both days before the theatre performances. 100% of the proceeds go to Baba. Everyone is donating their services and out of pocket expenses to the benefit. In addition to two theatre performances several other events are planned for the weekend.
