Museum of TV and Radio Documentary: Brill Building Pop: New York
Premiere of filmmaker Morgan Neville's documentary on the Brill Building (1619 Broadway), a bastion of creativity for many young songwriters including Bobby Darin, Burt Bacharach, Carole King, Neil Sedaka, Paul Simon and others who got their first break in the late 50s and early 60s. Live in-person: producer/director Neville, executive producer Peter Jones, singer/songwriter Ellie Greenwich and songwriter/producer Shadow Morton. 6:30pm at the Museum of Television and Radio (25 West 52nd Street) as part of their 2001 Television Documentary Festival from May 3-20.
