Cristina Abaroa has been playing guitar since she was six years old. She studied Commercial Arranging at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, and has participated in the production of more than 50 albums as a songwriter, arranger, musician, vocalist, production coordinator and copyist. She has composed music for many children’s television shows including “Plaza Sesamo” (Sesame Street), “Alegrijes y Rebujos” and more, and is pursuing her career as a singer/songwriter.
A singer/songwriter from Mendoza, Argentina but Mexican at heart, Ferra is a two-time finalist in the International Music Festival - Viña del Mar - in 1999 and 2004. He has composed music for various telenovelas in Mexico such as “Buscando el Paraiso” and “DKDA.” His songs have been recorded by artists including Paulina Rubio and Banda El Recodo; and for two years he toured with Latin rock group Elefante opening their shows and as an invited guitarist. In 2004 he released his new album Natural which includes songs co-written with Reyli Barba (Elefante) and Luis Carlos Monroy (Tres de Copas).
Lalo Carrillo, Salo Loyo, Victor Loyo and Alejandro Carballo are the Latin group NO-Pals. Having toured the globe with Latin pop Icon Luis Miguel since 1993, their unique brand of Latin fusion, jazz and R&B has won them a global following. They released their self-titled release in fall of 2004, which was recorded in Los Angeles. Former Motown recording artist Daryl Walker will be performing with NO-Pals as a special guest vocalist.
Born in Ecuador, Paulina Aguirre is considered one of the pioneering singer/songwriters in her native country. She was discovered at the young age of six when she began putting music into children’s poems. At 16 she was a member of the group Contrapunto and it was then that she developed her ability to harmonize and create new ideas for her compositions. Years later she was invited to open the concerts of artists such as INXS, Juan Luis Guerra and Miguel Bose. She currently resides in Los Angeles and has appeared on albums by Luis Miguel, Marco Antonio Solis, Mijares and Martha Sanchez. She is the official voice on “Los Solecitos,” Univision’s children’s show. She is currently working on her debut Christian album.
