Marcella Detroit - You can take the girl out of Detroit, but you can't take Detroit out of the girl - or so it goes for Marcella Detroit, half of the early 90s group Shakespear's Sister with Ex-Bananarama member Siobhan Fahey. Known for her always very soulful voice, Detroit co-wrote the group's 1992 hit, "Stay", with Siobhan and then hubby, Dave Stewart, (of Eurythmics fame), as well as "Lay Down Sally" with Eric Clapton. She's had enormous commercial success in the UK and throughout Europe as a member of Shakespeare's Sister and as a solo artist. Having performed with Elton John, Aretha Franklin, Bob Seger and others, Marcella's newest effort is her ten song album entitled dancing madly sideways. Michiko - Singer/songwriter Michiko, formerly lead singer of the band Milk, has been working as a musician in Los Angeles since 1992. In addition to writing and recording around town she has been known to lend her rich voice to commercials and other peoples recordings.
