Austin City Limits Music Festival

Zilker Park

The inaugural Austin City Limits Music Festival recently took place in the city's Zilker Park. Organized by Charlie Jones of Capital Sports & Entertainment, the event drew more than 40,000 music fans during its two-day run on September 28 and 29. BMI executives were on hand to listen to some of the top-notch talent that played on six stages scattered across 15 acres, including Los Lobos, Wilco, Patrice Pike, The Derailers, Gillian Welch, Eyes Adrift, Caitlin Cary, The Jayhawks, Ryan Adams, Luna, Kelly Willis, Jimmie Vaughan, Nickel Creek and Tift Merritt.
