Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation Teacher Awards: New York
The Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports music education programs in schools nationwide, will present its 6th annual music teacher awards at Carnegie Hall in New York.
Five music teachers were selected from across the country and will receive $10,000 each. The award recognizes music teachers who best embrace the spirit and dedication of Mr. Holland portrayed in the 1995 movie.
