MusiCares Financial Wellness Workshop: Los Angeles

Financial Wellness: Surviving Temporary Financial Setbacks and Q&A. The final installment in the 2003 Financial Wellness Workshop Series, provided by MusiCares and Society of Singers in conjunction with Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Los Angeles. This workshop shows participants how to best handle their finances during periods of reduced income. It covers important considerations such as prioritizing financial obligations, consumer rights concerning debt collection and tools individuals can use to contact and maintain their relationships with creditors. A panel of financial and industry experts will also be on hand to discuss and answer questions from attendees. 6-8 p.m. at the Recording Academy National Office (Santa Monica). Admission is free.
