DESCRIPTION:BMI remains dedicated to educating the creative community through its popular Songwriters' Workshop Series in Nashville The 2009/2010 season kicks off July 14 under the continued tutelage of hit songwriter and best-selling author Jason Blume. This month's topic is "How to Get your First Cut."\n\nThe workshop offers a building-block style curriculum designed to supply songwriters with invaluable creative tips and business counsel and is open to all songwriters who are serious about and committed to successful commercial songwriting.\n\nRegistration is conducted online.
