- To provide fair compenstation to artists for use of their sound recordings. "Performance Rights Act"
HR 848
- To provide parity in radio performance rights under title 17, United States Code, and for other purposes. "Performance Rights Act"

- To amend title 17, united States Code, with respect to works connected to certain funding agreements. "Fair Copyright in Research Works Act"
The BMI Fund is a federal Political Action Committee and participation in this PAC is essential to our ability to help elect officials who understand the critical issues in our industry such as the protection of the rights of songwriters, composers, and publishers. Many elected leaders have fought for the rights of songwriters, composers, and publishers in the past and deserve our support, and each year there are candidates seeking office that are committed to preserving the rights of the creators. We need to support these candidates. Your support is extremely important to the continuation of the BMI Fund. Participation at any amount or level is vital to our ability to best serve and support our affiliates.
