Songwriters Helen Darling and Billy Montana were recently feted at BMI Nashville in honor of their first #1 hit, "Bring On The Rain." Recorded by Curb artist Jo Dee Messina with guest vocalist Tim McGraw, the track was co-produced by Byron Gallimore and McGraw and published by Estes Park Music (a division of Moraine Music Group) and Darling's company, Little Chatterbox Music.

The Chicks have scored several hits since forming one-and-a-half years ago, but "Bring On The Rain" marks their first #1.
