Music Educators Praise BMI’s Frances Preston

Frances W. Preston, President & CEO of BMI, was honored as the first recipient of the "Educational Leadership Award" by the Music and Entertainment Industry Educators Association (MEIEA) in recognition of her longtime support of higher education programs that prepare students for music industry careers. In making the presentation, MEIEA President Tim Hays cited Preston's willingness to serve on the board of MEIEA, on the Middle Tennessee State University Recording Industry Advisory Board and on the Belmont University Music Business Advisory Board as examples of her support of the MEIEA's mission.
