Andy Griggs

RCA Records artist Andy Griggs (center) recently celebrated his second album Freedom with an acoustic performance and reception in Nashville. Griggs contributed six songs to Freedom, including the title track. Other BMI writers on the project are Tom Douglas, Troy Verges, Don Cook, Jamie Hartford, David Malloy and Wendell Mobley. His debut album, You Won't Ever Be Lonely, yielded the BMI Award-winning title song and "I'll Go Crazy."

On hand to preview the new music, which will be released July 9, were RCA Label Group Chairman Joe Galante and BMI's Joyce Rice.
