Blue Epic Frontman Goes Solo in NYC

Phillip Roberson, lead singer of Alabama-based rockers Blue Epic, made a solo appearance at the Billboard Caf� on March 5. The TVT Records band has a five-song EP in stores now entitled Love & Hate, with a full length CD in the works. The EP, produced by Chad Blinman (Get Up Kids, Face To Face), features a cover of Neil Young's classic "A Man Needs a Maid," as well as four originals.
