Fans’ Votes Add Up to BMI Superstar Winners for CMT Music Awards

Keith Urban led the list of BMI winners at the 2005 CMT Music Awards when "Days Go By" was announced as Video of the Year during the April 11th telecast from Nashville's Gaylord Entertainment Center. Hosted by Jeff Foxworthy, the show -- country music's only fan-voted awards -- also featured BMI Icon Loretta Lynn accepting the Johnny Cash Visionary Award.

Other BMI winners included Alison Krauss for "Whiskey Lullaby" (Collaborative Video of the Year), Tim McGraw for "Live Like You Were Dying" (Most Inspiring Video of the Year) and Toby Keith for "Whiskey Girl" (Hottest Video of the Year). "Feels Like Today" by country trio Rascal Flatts was named the CMT Music Awards Group/Duo Video of the Year.
