Boxing Champ Evander Holyfield Brings ‘Real Deal’ to Nashville

Four-time world heavyweight boxing champion Evander Holyfield held a press conference at BMI Nashville recently to discuss his entertainment venture, Real Deal Records.

Holyfield was accompanied by Mike Trammell, GM of Real Deal, and Eric Ryan, a Salt Lake City singer/songwriter who is the label's first country artist. Ryan has recorded "NASCAR Cowboy," and he and Holyfield are in discussions with NASCAR officials about marketing the song.

Real Deal, based in Atlanta, is also developing gospel, r&b, hip-hop and jazz acts.
