BMI LA Welcomes ‘The Hotstepper’

Hip-hop/reggae artist Ini Kamoze, best known for his dancehall smash "Here Comes the Hotstepper," visited the BMI Los Angeles office fresh from his win at the 2005 Pop Awards for his co-writing contribution to the Beyonce hit "Baby Boy." Other songs by the Jamaican-born "lyrical gangsta" include "Shocking Out," "Taxi With Me," "World-A-Music," and his first single "Trouble You A Trouble Me."

Shown congratulating Kamoze (2nd left) are BMI's Del Bryant, Barbara Cane and Phil Graham.
