‘Play Something Country’ Earns #1 for Dunn, McBride

Ronnie Dunn and Terry McBride were honored with a party at BMI Nashville recognizing the #1 status of their hit "Play Something Country" (9/21). Recorded and co-produced by Brooks & Dunn with Tony Brown, the single appears on the group's latest Arista release Hillbilly Deluxe.

Also receiving accolades were the song's publishers Showbillly Music, Still Working Music, Inc., Sony/ATV Tree and Turn Me On Music. McBride and Dunn previously penned the BMI Country Award-winning songs "I Can't Get Over You," "That's What She Gets for Loving Me" and "You'll Always Be Loved By Me."
