BMI Teams with RAB for FastStart Minority Scholarship

BMI and the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB) teamed up at the recent RAB Conference in Dallas to recognize Isabella LaForet, one of the recipients of the FastStart to Radio Sales Success Minority Scholarship program. The FastStart program is designed to foster the success of minorities in radio sales, with a selection committee of broadcasting executives granting groups of needs-based scholarships twice every year.

LaForet, an account executive from WBLS in New York, addressed more than 1,500 attendees and discussed how the BMI/RAB FastStart Program has enhanced her career. She explained how the training has helped her integrate all of her abilities and has allowed her to focus on the sales process and the clients' needs so she can grow as an account executive with ICBC Broadcast Holdings, Inc.
