BMI and Club Fandango Rock the Borderline

BMI's London office was delighted to host one of the first gigs by new A&M/Universal signings The Hours at the October installment of its "At The Borderline" showcase series, co-sponsored by promoters Club Fandango.

BMI London's Nick Robinson (center) hangs out with Ant Genn and Martin Slattery of The Hours before the gig.

The band, featuring former Pulp member Ant Genn and ex-Black Grape/Joe Strummer cohort Martin Slattery, are celebrating their debut single "Ali in the Jungle. All-girl punk trio, The Mescalitas, whose own debut single will soon be released on the legendary Rough Trade label, opened the evening's festivities.
