BMI’s Latin Music Team Flocks to Mexican Music Summit

Executives from BMI's Latin Music team --- L.A.'s Delia Orjuela, New York's Porfirio Piña and Puerto Rico's Jerry Vila --- gathered in Los Angeles recently for Billboard magazine's inaugural Regional Mexican Music Summit. Held Nov. 13-14 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, the BMI-sponsored event brought the top-selling Latin music genre to the forefront by focusing on the publishing, digital, radio and touring aspects, and by providing a meeting and networking space for artists, labels, concert promoters, retailers, managers, marketers and advertisers.
