‘It Just Comes Natural’: Marv Green & Jim Collins Celebrate No. 1 Single with BMI

BMI songwriters Marv Green and Jim Collins attracted quite the crowd last week. The co-writers of George Strait’s recent No. 1 “It Just Comes Natural,” Green and Collins celebrated the title track to King George’s latest album with a packed crowd of friends, family and peers. More BMI parties may be waiting in the wings for both of the serial hitmakers: Marv Green co-wrote Carrie Underwood’s current single “Wasted,” while Jim Collins composed up-and-comers Cole Diggs & The Lonesome’s “I Got More.”
