BMI, Rebel Spirit Music Foster Creative Environment for Songwriters

BMI has partnered with Rebel Spirit Music in sponsoring several showcases and events designed to share new music while offering songwriters and performers the opportunity to network face to face with individuals in the Manhattan music community.

Recognizing a trend within the local music scene, Rebel Spirit Music set out to provide an opportunity for individuals pursuing a music career to utilize the resources that surround them. Artists are able to obtain information regarding booking opportunities, industry advice, recorded music and live venue reviews on rebelspiritmusic.com.

Free, BMI-sponsored showcases will occur monthly at the Rockwood Music Hall, providing songwriters an outlet to have their music heard in-front of a buzz generating audience. Upcoming showcases dates are provided on Rebel’s aforementioned website.
