BMI and Entercom’s 94.1 The Wolf Bring Nashville Songwriters to Memphis for Songwriters Festival

BMI partnered recently (3/12/16) with Entercom’s 94.1 The Wolf to present the 1st annual BMI Songwriters Festival held at The Halloran Centre for Performing Arts and Education in Memphis, TN. Headlining the festival were award-winning BMI songwriters Phil O’Donnell, Shane Minor, Shelley Skidmore, and Greg Bates, who collectively have written chart-topping songs for the likes of Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, George Strait, Diamond Rio, Cole Swindell, Parmalee, and Montgomery Gentry, amongst others. The audience was treated to a special VIP reception before the performance and a portion of proceeds from ticket sales went to support the Halloran Centre’s programs for students, teachers, and families, which currently serves more 65,000 people annually.
