CMJ 2009

The CMJ Music Marathon Festival returns to the streets and venues of New York in October 2009.

BMI has partnered with CMJ to present seven auspicious acts: pop/rap amalgamators Crush Club; valiant imports Die Die Die; southern wordsmith Rob Roy; jazz-funk scholars Space Capone; rock-hounds Modern Skirts; musical brethren The Enemy Lovers; and Billboard-touted Mike Del Rio.

A diverse lineup of talent will hit the stage at Crash Mansion (199 Bowery, NYC), continuing CMJ’s 29-year history of celebrating new music first. Entry is free for CMJ badge holders. The cost for non-registered CMJ attendees is $5 before 11 and $10 after; free drinks will be available from 7:30 - 8:30 p.m.

BMI's widespread presence at the festival includes co-sponsored events with Paste Magazine, Pure Volume and Dub Frequency. For more details, see below-
