Mark de Gli Antoni
An alumni of the Sundance Composers Lab, Mark returns to the 2008 Sundance Film Festival having scored Roman Polanksi: Wanted and Desired. Mark was born in California and is best known for his work as keyboard player for the band Soul Coughing. Since the band broke up, he has devoted his energy toward film scoring. His credits include the films Cherish (directed by Finn Taylor: starring Robin Tunney, Tim Blake Nelson, and Jason Priestly) and “Marie and Bruce” (directed by Tom Cairns; starring Julianne Moore and Matthew Broderick). De Gli Antoni has a master’s degree in music composition from the Mannes College of Music in New York City. In The early 1990’s, he was a member, along with Eric Qin and Norman Yamada, of composers collective Rough Assemblage, which created experimental musical works.
