Recent film credits include:  I.O.U.S.A. and Frozen River, both at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival; The Great Debaters, dir by Denzel Washington (score composed with James Newton Howard); Wordplay, directed by Patrick Creadon, Sundance 2006; The Laramie Project for HBO; American Gun, (with Forest Whitaker, Marcia Gay Harden) for IFC.  Recent theatre credits:  Come Back, Little Sheba (now on Broadway); Suddenly Last Summer (Roundabout); Macbeth (with Liev Schrieber), Shakespeare in the Park; Hedda Gabler (Broadway). Numerous concert works and ballets. Director of the Sundance Film Music Program, 1998-present.
