David Schwartz

David Schwartz attended the School of Visual Arts in New York and the Berklee College of Music in Boston. A bassist, he gained experience by performing and touring in a broad range of genres. In 1990, David began composing with the television series “Northern Exposure”. Over the last two decades, he has scored numerous films and tv series, including “Deadwood”, “Arrested Development”, “Maximum Bob”, and “Two of Us”. He has recently scored for Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson which will be one of the documentaries at 2008 Sundance Film Festival. David has been nominated for a Grammy and two Emmy Awards.
