Neal Evans

Since forming Soulive in 1999 with guitarist Eric Kranso and drummer Alan Evans, Soulive have provided years of soul-funk music throughout the years. Although Soulive developed a reputation as one of the most sought after instrumental soul-funk trios around, they incorporated vocal features in their work from fellow funksters such as Chaka Khan, Ivan Neville and Corey Glover to name a few. Recently, Neal took a break from his recording endeavors to participate in film scoring for The Black List which is showcasing at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival.
