GRAMMY Award-winning songwriter & producer Babyface will receive the BMI Icon Award at the 2024 BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards at Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles, CA. This honor recognizes his impressive career, marked by a formidable catalog of hit songs that have transcended generations and connected with audiences around the globe. Also, singer-songwriter and GRAMMY-Award winner SZA will be presented with the BMI Champion Award in honor of her dedication and efforts in fostering the next generation of music creators.
This invitation-only event will also honor the songwriters, producers and music publishers of the past year’s 35 most-performed R&B/Hip-Hop songs of the previous year, as well as the R&B/Hip-Hop Songwriter, Producer and Publisher of the Year will be recognized.
