Bren Joy

Nashville’s Bren Joy is leading the new wave of R&B with a fresh sound inspired by artists like John Legend, Kirk Franklin, and The 1975. Joy’s 2019 EP, Twenties, was written while he studied music at Belmont University, and fan favorite tracks of his include “Henny in the Hamptons”, “Sweet” with Landon Sears, and his most recent single, “Freezing.”

Jai’len Josey

Soul-pop singer Jai’len Josey is one of the most exciting new talents to emerge from Atlanta’s hip-hop/R&B scene. She made her professional vocal debut in the Spongebob Squarepants Broadway musical, and also wrote and performed a song for Oil of Olay in 2019. All of Josey’s music is self-written, and her first official single, “Death of a Black Girl,” was released in February. Her new EP, Illustrations, debuted in September.

Jac Ross

Darkchild/Island Records artist, Jac Ross, is using his soul-stirring vocals to tell stories of struggle, success, and hope. This on-the-rise talent has released a series of singles this year, most notably “It’s OK to be Black,” written in response to the events of 2020. Ross’ silky voice and powerful harmonies aim to give people a reason to smile, hence the release of his most recent single, a holiday-themed track called “Someday at Christmas.”
