BMI Board Elects Kenneth J. Elkins Chairman
Kenneth J. Elkins of Pulitzer Broadcasting, St. Louis, has been elected Chairman of the BMI Board of Directors, it was announced today. Elected to new four-year terms were Frances W. Preston, President & CEO of the performing rights organization; long-time broadcasting veteran Phillip A. Jones of Mission Hills, KS, who just completed three years as Chairman, and David Sherman of ABC, Inc. Elkins was first elected to the Board in 1991. Preston, who has held her current executive position since 1986, also serves on the company's Board.
