BMI Nashville recently gifted the W.O. Smith Community Music School with five Yamaha keyboards. The mission of the School is to provide high quality music instruction to children from low-income families using an all-volunteer faculty for just 50 cents per lesson; instruments and music are loaned at no additional cost. For the past few years, these keyboards have been used by BMI writers during songwriting sessions; their portabilty makes them a valuable addition to the W.O. Smith instrument library.
