Leadership Bluegrass 2001 Class In Session On Music Row

BMI Nashville served as campus for the second class of Leadership Bluegrass, a music industry leadership development program designed to build commitment, motivate talents and instill enthusiasm for addressing the future challenges and opportunities of bluegrass music. BMI's Mark Mason, a member of the inaugural class, served as host for the March 9-11 event.

The International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) offers the weekend-long program for 20; its seminars, roundtables and panel discussions covered the state of the industry, history, media, event production, recording & distribution, leadership opportunities and responsibilities, agents & managers, songwriting & publishing and touring.
