BMI songwriter Chip Taylor (center), who penned the classic "Angel of the Morning," is seen here at an album release party held at the Cross Keys of Chelsea in London celebrating his forthcoming album, Black and Blue America. Taylor was presented with a Gold Disc from EMI Music Publishing's Bob Clifford and a Million-Air Certificate from BMI's Phil Graham for more than 6 million broadcast performances. Originally a hit for Merrilee Rush and later Juice Newton, the song is back on top of the US and UK charts with rapper Shaggy's version. Taylor also performed with John Platania and PP Arnold, who flew in just for the occasion.
