BMI executives were on hand to support the composers and organizers of the Don’t Touch that Remote... It's TV Night at the Bowl celebration held at the Hollywood Bowl on Sunday, August 26. Hosted by Mary Tyler Moore with conductor John Mauceri and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, the show featured some of the most recognized theme songs and scores in television history, with music from BMI composers such as Alexander Courage ("Star Trek"), Jerry Goldsmith ("Star Trek"), Basil Poledouris ("Lonesome Dove"), W. G. Snuffy Walden ("West Wing"), John Williams ("Liberty Fanfare") and Mike Post ("NYPD Blue," "Doogie Howser," "LA Law," "Law & Order," "Hill Street Blues"), who was featured as a guest conductor for a medley of his works.
