At a BMI-hosted celebration dinner, songwriters Tommy Lee James and Chris Waters received pewter BMI #1 cups for their hit "What I Really Meant To Say." The debut release from Capitol Nashville's Cyndi Thompson, "What I Really Meant To Say" is published by Still Working Music, Sony/ATV Tree, Chris Waters Music, and Tommy Lee James Songs. Among Waters's other BMI Award-winning songs are "You're Easy On The Eyes" and "Better Things To Do" (Terri Clark), "She Never Lets It Go To Her Heart" (Tim McGraw) and "That Ain't My Truck" (Rhett Akins). James also scored BMI honors with the hits "If You See Him/If You See Her" (Brooks & Dunn with Reba McEntire), "Wrong Again" (Martina McBride) and "A Man This Lonely" (Brooks & Dunn).
