Help Consumers, Protect Copyright, Spur Economic Growth

BMI, as a member of the Copyright Assembly, co-signed a letter sent to members of Congress, urging them to "Help Consumers, Protect Copyright, Spur Economic Growth, Oppose H.R. 107".

H.R. 107 is called "the Digital Media Consumers' Rights Act of 2003", and is sponsored by Congressman Boucher (D-VA), Congressman Doolittle (R-CA), Congressman Bauchus (R-AL), and Congressman Kennedy (D-RI). It is currently under consideration in the House Committee on Commerce, Trade, and Consumer Protection.
