Mary Danna Meets Million-Air Milestone

Posted in News on August 12, 2003
Mary Danna and her publishing company Dannasongs received Million-Air Awards from BMI recognizing one million performances of her BMI Country Award-winning hit "I Would've Loved You Anyway." Co-written with Troy Verges, the song was a top 5 hit for Trisha Yearwood in 2001. Danna also wrote the Million-Air hit "Lonely Won't Leave Me Alone" (Trace Adkins), which won a Country Award in 1999. Based on an average length of three minutes, one million airplays is the equivalent of 50,000 hours or 5.7 years of continuous airplay.
