BMI joined forces with publishing/management/consulting/production company GMW Entertainment Ltd. to bring songwriters together for a week of writing sessions at the end of November at Terminal Studios in London. Writers attending the first GMW/BMI Writer's Week included BMI songwriter Kevin Hunter from Los Angeles and a wide range of European and UK writers/artists, such as MC Tali, Beulah, Nick Woodbridge, Sascha Dupont, Owen Parker, Steve McNerney, Peter Niels, Erikah Karst and many more. The group wrote songs for submission to the next Pop Idol event in Holland. The Discovery Channel also filmed a documentary about the week.
