BMI and FOX Searchlight hosted a screening of A Day Without A Mexican in honor of Latino filmmaker and BMI composer Sergio Arau who directed and scored the film. The movie, which also features songs by BMI artists Molotov and Los Abandoned, is about the state of California waking up one morning to find that 14 million Hispanics have disappeared. The comedic satire is now playing in select theaters in California and Texas.

Shown at the reception following the screening are BMI's Linda Livingston and Delia Orjuela; composer/director Sergio Arau; screenwriter and actress Yareli Arizmendi; and BMI's Barbara Cane and Paige Sober.
