Latin Grammy Nominees Showcase Diverse Styles
BMI Latin Grammy nominee Juan Luis Guerra and Delia Orjuela at the Latin Grammys press conference |
Leading the list with three nods each are Colombian superstar Juanes and 17-year-old newcomer JD Natasha. Juanes, whose duet "Fotografía" was named the 2005 BMI Latin Song of the Year, is already a nine-time Latin Grammy winner and hopes to add the Best Rock Solo Vocal Album (Mi Sangre), Best Rock Song ("Nada Valgo Sin Tu Amor") and Best Music Video ("Volverte A Ver") trophies to his collection. Best New Artist nominee JD Natasha will compete against Juanes for Best Rock Solo Vocal Album with Imperfecta-Imperfect; she also earned a Best Rock Song nomination for her hit "Lágrimas."
