Film Music Community Welcomes UN Rep to Special Luncheon

Posted in News on October 19, 2005
Since 9/11, BMI has hosted an annual "Film Music and the Bigger Picture" luncheon for the New York film music community and special friends from the United Nations. In addition to film and music, the gathering includes a discussion about the current social and political issues affecting the world.

Guest speaker Audrey Kitagawa, the UN's Advisor to the Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Children and Armed Conflict, has worked closely with BMI's Linda Livingston and Doreen Ringer Ross to create a forum for open and frank discussions among leaders in the creative film music community and representatives from various social advocate groups.
