$250 Discount Available for Billboard Latin Conference

Posted in News on March 1, 2006
Billboard magazine is now offering a registration discount of $250 to BMI songwriters attending the Billboard Latin Music Conference & Awards 2006, being held April 24-27 at the Ritz-Carlton in Miami's South Beach.

The conference, now in its 17th year, is the longest running event of its kind at an international level and is attended by over 1000 sponsors, press and powerful music industry executives. Highlights include showcase performances by more than 20 artists, a fashion show, panel discussions on key industry issues, a Q&A with Daddy Yankee conducted by Leila Cobo (Billboard's Latin Music Bureau Chief), an "American Idol"-style new artist contest and much more.

Parties, educational sessions, cocktail receptions, networking events and the 4th annual Billboard Bash, featuring awards presentations and performances, all make up what is now called Latin Music Week. The week is capped off by the Billboard Latin Music Awards, a star-studded televised awards show with live performances by top Latin superstars.
