L.A. Rockers Nico Vega Creating Big Buzz
Los Angeles rock group Nico Vega was BMI's February "Pick of the Month" artist, performing at The Troubadour Club during a record release party for the band's EP Choose Your Words Poorly. With members hailing from the American Midwest and the Pacific Northwest, The Los Angeles Times says the group "...rocks with a classic approach that hints at, but never dives into, '80s revivalism..."

Nico Vega is also a featured act on the March 16 "BMI and Performing Songwriter Magazine Presents..." showcase during the SXSW Music Conference in Austin, as well as on the eighth edition of BMI's "See It Hear First(tm)" podcast.
BMI's "Pick of the Month" is a live, monthly showcase series that focuses on exposing bands and artists to the music industry and public through a top-quality venue and discount admission.
