Jack Ingram’s First #1 Supplies Steve Bogard’s Lucky #7

BMI hosted the feel good party of the summer last week, as BMI singer/songwriter Jack Ingram celebrated his first No. 1 single "Wherever You Are." Jack's performance of the tune, penned by BMI songwriter Steve Bogard, created much-deserved buzz for the hard-working Texan and supplied Bogard with his seventh No. 1 hit.

The crowded event, held on BMI's rooftop overlooking the Nashville skyline, featured a commanding performance by Jack and his Beat-Up Ford band, along with a slew of commemorative presentations. The audience was stacked with friends, peers and business associates, who have championed the critically acclaimed Ingram during his decade-long trek to mainstream country acceptance.
