BMI Supports Nashville-Area Music School

Posted in News on July 23, 2006
BMI showed its continuing support of arts education by presenting the W.O. Smith Music School with a check for $5,000. The school serves over 350 Nashville-area students between the ages of seven and 18 through both individual and group lessons, and offers voice and instrumental instruction throughout the year. The programs target talented, interested and deserving children from low-income families, with a cost of only 50 cents per lesson.

The W.O. Smith Music School is funded by contributions from foundations, arts councils, individuals and corporations. BMI is proud to collaborate with such a vital, empowering asset for children in the Nashville community.
