77% of 2013 ACM Awards Go Home With BMI Writers
Another triumph came for BMI’s country genre at the Academy of Country Music awards ceremony in Las Vegas on April 7, 2013. Some of the night’s big BMI winners were: Luke Bryan, who took Entertainer of the Year; Jason Aldean, who won for Top Male Vocalist; Miranda Lambert, who was named Top Female Vocalist; Eric Church, whose “Chief” won Album of the Year; and Lambert and Shelton’s “Over You,” which took Song of the Year.
